Giving Kids Less Can Mean Giving More
Remember when you were a kid and your parents insisted that you do something in the summer months (sports, take piano, youth programs at the colleges, Upward Bound), drinking from the water pipe was enough because you enjoyed being outside with your friends and none of the kids had inhalers? Where the those days go? We often think doing better for our kids means giving them more and over protecting them when in reality we sometimes give more by giving them a appreciation for the simple things in life. Say no more and do more for your kids. They'll be just fine.
